Doctor Web and RED SOFT tested new versions of products

Within the framework of a technology partnership, RED SOFT and Doctor Web have tested the compatibility of their products. The developers confirmed the correct operation of the anti-virus software of the Dr.Web family (by Doctor Web) under the RED OS operating system (by RED SOFT). Test results are reflected in a bilateral certificate of compatibility.

RED OS is a Russian, Linux-family, general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to class 1 inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).

Dr.Web anti-virus protection system allows Doctor Web clients' information systems to effectively counter any even unknown threats. Dr.Web products allow you to limit all the pathways of all types of malicious objects into the corporate network and to the protected devices and minimize the risk of infections. They not only protect, but also ensure strict compliance with security policies on all computer devices on which they are installed.

“Ensuring user security in the operating system environment is a priority for the developer. RED SOFT focuses on the compatibility of RED OS with anti-virus systems. Regular compatibility testing of new versions allows us to maintain the reliability of our product. We thank the colleagues from Doctor Web for stable and fruitful cooperation”, Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, comments.

“For our company, issues of compatibility with domestic operating systems have recently become one of the highest priorities. We try to mobilize development resources and testers as much as possible in order to provide Russian users with reliable antivirus products, to make the information security infrastructure independent of the political preferences of foreign companies”, Boris Sharov, Doctor Web LLC CEO, says.
